"Fighting" tickets is easy. I do it for myself and friends. Unless you have an absolutely horrendous record, all the attorney does it get a court date (pre-trial) conference and most of the time the judge will grant a "withhold adjudication" which results in no points, and court costs. 99% of people want to keep the points off their record so this is how almost all tickets are handled. It's easy and something you can do on your own if you have the availability of going to court during the week.
But, you can pay The Ticket Clinic or similar firm and they'll do it for less than $100. The way the can do this so cheap is volume: when I see them in court, they sometimes have more than 50 tickets during one hearing.
Also, ALWAYS be nice to the officer. If you take your case to trial they always show up now and they will remember the ********.

The only thing on my record is a previous speeding ticket back in July
Paid, took the class, no points
I will call the ticket clinic and use them
I was very polite and honest with the officer
I pulled over before he even came after me
I knew he clocked me
Figured if I was nice he might cut me a break being almost christmas
But,
My luck dosent run that way.
I just don't want the points on my license and I wanna save as much cash as possible

cool dude I know a good lawyer that I use to keep my license clean. He usually charges $200 bucks. And polks court costs are not 250-500. It's around fifty bucks.

back 2000 145 in 45 got in a wreck and totaled the other persons car. reckless driving driving without insurance (got dropped once i got out of jail) arrested on the spot and was in county for two nights before i made bail. Hired a lawyer, and my fine was 400 with court cost, lawyer was 500. And then got sued for 5k from the person I hit......worst day of my life....

Back when I was 10 ft tall and bullet proof I got 100+ in a 45, failure to yield and wreckless driving. I had about 6-7 police cars way behind me. I'm the only one that had a white 88 Iroc in town. My grandma went to school with the judge and I got out of all of it except the wreckless drving ticket. All of it started because a mustang wanted to race and I kicked his butt right quick. I miss that car haha

haha well said. I know I can relate.My worst was when I had just turned 16, couldnt get my license for another month so I was only on a drivers permit. Borrowed a buddys v6 5speed tacoma to pick up these 2 girls and bring them back to party. They took forever so I was ready to be back. A mile from our destination I was feeling impatient and decided to show off and have some fun.. Came around a curve to a straight away and dropped it in second and floored it, banged third, and got back into it. A car was comming in oncomming lanes and it looked like crown vic lights but I was already going too fast and I stayed in it (wouldnt have had time to slow down much anyway so I was pretty screwed it it were a cop). Stayed in iit as I passed and sure enough it was a cop. I tried to say in it an dip into the next neighborhood on the right but aparantly the said tacoma had no abs and I locked up the fronts and slid past the turn towards the grass on the shoulder. Let off brakes and regained controll and pulled over and waited a couple seconds for the pig to come up. He drew his gun on me as he opened the door, pulled me out and pushed me over the bed to cuff me. Sat in the car for 30 min as my mom came to get me.. lol. She was pissed. Got the max speeding ticket, $333 at the time for 76 ina 35, and a careless, not wreckless, driving ticket. Paid the tickets, and took the driving course. Went to court pled no contest, and got no points I think he pitied because of my sob story, already took care of the tickets and driving school, and I presented myself well. The judge took it easy on me and said he never wanted to see me back there (and that particular judge hasnt

I got busted doing a 69 in a residental neighbor hood....... Good thing was cop gave me a warning told me to stop eating out on the side of the road!
But for real back when I was 16 had my liscence for 3 months got mad points and fines lost it for 6 months plus had to do 100 hours community service.... I had 3 racing on highway tickets, 4 speeding, Carless and reckless, Wilful wantful, and a 2 for not making complete stops.....Had my liscence back for 3 days and got Racing on public hwy ticket LOL

my highest ticket was 300 something, but my best ticket was my first one,
so its close to midnight and im driving on 103rd street and going the other way a gt stang is going by and revs at me. im like w/e your going the other way. in my rear view i notice him stop and get in a turning lane and prep to do a u turn, so im thinking maybe this guy is going to try and catch me. he waits for a car that was behind me quite a ways to pass and then does the u turn. heres the part where i made my mistake. the car that he waited for turned on his high beams at that moment and i lose them both in the light, but at the time i wasnt sure which car turned on the high beams. so the high beaming ******* accelerates very fast and before you know it is on my *** like 2 ft away. im blinded and think its the mustang being an ******* wanting to race. so i move over one lane and go up to 90-100 to get away from him. the car moves over to my lane and punches it stays on my *** the whole time, i get up to 110 and the highbeams suddenly turn into flashing red and blue lights. yep, i just raced a cop i said to myself. turns out it was some state *******. i explained to him i was blinded by his lights and thought the mustang was getting a little dangerous with me so i tried to get away from him without making it seem like i wanted to race him. he wrote me a 200 buck ticket and apologized for the highbeams, claimed he didnt know. bullshit i say.

you WERE very lucky.10 years ago i used to be a O/O. had a 98 freightshaker with a 550 detroit 13 speed. ive had it in the triple digits a few times too boltin across new mex. az. and texas.i always let the bullhaulers ride point while i sandbagged. they always had the bird dogs sniffin out smokey.. lol

I got busted street racing in south miami with a suspended license which I didn't know it was a couple years ago. $1200+just in fees, 4 days in jail and 12 hour online driving course. The worst part was it was my anniversary dinner with my girlfriend that night. I was kinda happy I was in jail when she found out what happened lol.
