Default need help degreeing my new cam in

so ive been working on my cam swap for a couple days now and im on my way back together, im at the point im putting on the timming set, i need to degree in the new cam, can anyone help with this? i dont have the tools and im trying to avoid buying them because i dont do this all the time, if someone in northwest fl can lend a hand or even just the tools that would be great. thanks.

What engine? LS motors line the dots up and rotate a couple times and make sure still line up. That is all I would do unless you have adjustable timing set and are trying to adjust advance....

^^this. unless you suspect you may have been sold the wrong camshaft, no real need to degree.

Degreeing your cam is always a good idea just to make sure everything is kosher and gets installed exactly as it was designed... however if you dont have an adjustable timing set then you cant degree, and in that case there is nothing wrong with installing dot to dot just that your powerband might be 100 rpms off where it should be lol

its a custom grind from ed c, just trying to make sure everything is correct. spent way to much on this cam install already, just want to make sure its done right. at this point tho i wish i just would have gone dot to dot... i bought the adjustable timing set already.

Then I would buy a degree wheel and a magnetic base dial indicator to make sure everything is good.
