Default Gainesville track question

So I had always heard Gainesville at least makes an attempt at doing a tech inspection, and I was thinking of going Saturday to the test and tune. I have a 6 point roll bar, my question is, will they give me any grief about not having the door bars padded? Might seem like a silly question, but if so I don't want to drive two hours out there if they will not let me run due to this.

Thanks for any insight! If so I guess I'll go to Bradenton on Sunday for Runday Sunday.

Well, does anyone know? Would be great to know as it will dictate my weekend plans.

Edit: Looks like I am headed south to Bradenton. Never mind this what must seem as a ridiculous thread.

Every time I have ever gone they hardly look at my car. Only thing they are sticklers about is helmets it seems But with my luck I could tell you that and then they wont let you run...

Thanks, I have a helmet so I'm good there. Cool to hear that though, I had always heard they were sticklers.

I'm going to hit up north Florida next weekend now, or at least is the rough plan, so probably going to go to Bradenton Sunday, use a line lock for the first time, hopefully have a decent 60 foot time for once. Gotta love running 12.8's at 114 MPH I'm hoping to do better this time out.

Last time I went to OSW, on a fresh pair of 555Rs, but I didn't have a pressure gauge that read below 20 or 25 PSI, so I had way too much pressure in them, I also didn't do anywhere near a proper burnout it seems. Yeah the best 60 foot I cut that night was a 2.1. That and I have to admit I just don't get enough track time, all three of the 1/4 mile tracks are 2 hours away, and I get bored with the 1/8th mile. Maybe if the car were violently quick the 1/8th mile would be fun, but as it isn't I like to run it out, I hate shutting down half way through third in the 1/8th.

Dude I feel your pain. I am running 12.5-12.8 right now @ 116 because I am on street tires and even though gainesville is only 8 miles from my front door I still dont get to go hardly at all cause work.

With my BFgoodrich DRs I was running mid 11's with the car, I had to take them off though cause it turned into a daily.
