Default Need help with crank pulley install in Tampa area

Hey, I'm trying to install my crank pulley/harmonic balancer on my ls1. I tried using the install tool a member on here makes (piece of all thread rod, washers, and a nut) to press the pulley on but the rod snapped inside the crank when I got to about 180 ft/lbs. I did get it out with no damage to the threads though.

I don't want to go through that again, so does anyone have a proper tool to press a ls1 crank pulley on that I can borrow/use? I can either pick up the tool from you and do it myself or your welcome to come over with the it.

Please let me know, I need this pulley on asap. I am free tomorrow (11/16/12). Thanks, Duray

It shouldn't take 180ft lbs to pull the balancer onto the crank, something is wrong.
