Default LT1 tuner/shop Orlando area

Folks my wife has recently relocated to the Orlando area while I am in Afghanistan from our home in Germany. We have our 97 SS down there and the Optispark is starting to fail. I'd like to locate a shop that can do the swap and also tune the car properly. The vehicle has less than 1000 miles on it since 2004 and is needing some minor repairs. She'll be driving it for the next 8 months or so. Thank you for any feedback.

Would the Sanford area be good for you? If so, I have someone in mind who could help you out. Let me know.

I take my car to Dale @ Bowtie Automotive in Longwood, He built my motor and has done just about everything on my car. I wouldnt let anyone else work on the car. For a tune you are going to have to be willing to go outside orlando, i went to Dennis @ Redline Fab. in Port Orange I was VERY happy on how the tune came out.

Thanks guys. I ended up having TICK Performance (Where the car was being stored) replace the Optispark, plugs and plug wires. At first they didn't have time with my short notice but got it done. The vehicle is currently on a truck Southbound, I-95.

My Aunt and Uncle live in Port Orange. That isn't that far of a drive from where she's at, like 45-60 minutes. I'll look into it, thank you!

Formato doesn't like lt cars and I would never take one to him ever again. He is very knowledgeable but, prefers ls cars! Do a motor swap and he's your guy!

This is becoming quite common because LS vehicles are much easier to tune is what I hear.

What shops in Sanford are good? I just got a 96 z/28 SS SLP, and would very much like someone to take a good look at it.
