Default What do you CFL people do for cable/internet?

I currently have Bright House with road runner, and it works OK. The box is old and I need to swap it out because it glitches all the time , and only can store like eight things if they're in HD. The Internet works pretty good too, but I swear they slowed down the std road runner since they made faster ones available!

With the sports channels added on, and equipment fees, bend over taxes added up this crap costs me over $150 a month and the only thing I ever watch is the news and Fuel/FX.

What do the rest of you do? I'm considering just dropping the cable all together and just doing Internet/Netflix like some of my friends have done but you can't do any wifi-based Internet for that or they get pissed at your usage and throttle you.

I got fed up with dependability issues with Bright House and went to AT&T Uverse a couple of years ago. Its been rock solid so far for dependability, never had an issue with internet speed but I'm not a real heavy user and love the whole house DVR. My current bill is right at $150 for cable, internet and home phone. The home phone is $25 if you don't need it.

i had brighthouse for about 4-5years. good service but there boxs are junk and techs are not that skilled (well the ones that came to my house). i would get new boxs like once a month. i had there internet as well but it worked fine

i then moved and got the best box they offered at the time and that seemed to fix the tv problem but then i had internet problems.

so after all that bullshit i said **** it and got direct tv (with att internet). they have the best box/system setup out of all the diff companys i tryed but my signal ALWAYS went out so after a year i canceled that and got att Uverse (cable/net/phone) and have had them for 3 years. havnt had any problem to date other then there wifi signal isnt the best/strongest if you have wireless computers in house

i also tryed that netflix ****. it sucked, never anything new. i have a diff site i use if you want the info Chris PM or text me (sometimes the PM box is full)

Roadrunner for internet and a 65" antenna in my attic for TV. Bill is ~$50 and there are quite a few channels on over the air. Also have Netflix and Amazon Prime.

With AT&T U-verse, you have to see if it's available in your area as well.

65" Yagi antenna I mounted in the attic. Get over the air HD for free.

Similar to this one:

I guess the specific model I have isn't made anymore, but this looks exactly the same. If you are interested PM me.

I got the top of the line package for both cable and internet from AT&T for only $15 more a month than what BrightHouse was charging for it's general package. BrightHouse's cable TV menu is the worst I've ever seen. AT&Ts is the best.

I pay $50 a month for Brighthouse. I have Whole House HDDVR with three cable boxes (2hddvrs, 1hdbox). With all premium channels . And RoadRunner Lightning.

Guess I should mention I'm a service tech for bright house
