In search of Technician-WPB, Fl
Please have a resume ready. Pay would be dependent on your current skill set, certifications, tools and what you're bringing to the table. No big talkers wanted, no big drinkers or drug fiends , just hard working hustlers. Please. We've already been through that, and are looking for someone that wants to grow with the company. We have a good reputation, we'd like to keep that. We're a team here so nobody would be left on their own...we all step up to help one another, so no need to fear anything.
Mon-Fri 8am to 4 or 5pm.
Please feel free to email me directly at: Jamie.xtremesupercars@outlook.com
Thank you for your time,
Jamie

Thanks for the response. Been through the GM ASEP program myself nearly 15 years ago. It's a great program but, nothing like hands on experience. Depending on what you have worked on the past 1.5 year would be more of a defining factor(if you had the experience needed). For example...specifically a vette tech,..VS a lube tech and light line,...etc.
We're looking for someone that can clean a ticket, start to finish. We have a transmission guy, so the tech would just have to remove trans for our trans guy(unless tech was capable to do build himself)...tech would not have to rebuild motors,..we also have someone for that. I have worked for a dealership for many years so I have brought some of that experience/ethic into our performance shop. It's a good place to work to be honest. Laid back...not fast paced like a dealership though.
We would prefer someone with a dealership background but not mandatory. Reason dealership background is good on paper is based on the fact that most things in modern vehicles are all web based/computer based/or new software-scanner based. A guy doing carb rebuilds the past 20 years may not fit in so well....although we do have probably 8 cars in the shop now with carburetors.

I have a ton of people from out of state interested in the job but would like to keep with the locals if possible. Thanks for the interest, please feel free to email me or message me here with any questions. I'd like to have someone starting soon to take the pressure of the guys and myself.
Thanks,
Jamie

I am quite frankly looking to fill it 5 minutes ago.
I am truly overwhelmed with the amount of work I have on my plate....for example...I am the manager(not really supposed to be working on cars) and I am diagnosing cars, fixing cars, ordering parts, web site, sales, as well as a bunch of other internal stuff. I'm constantly pulling a guy off one thing, to work on another....further delaying what they were originally working on. So I could use someone soon. FYI- We have an aircraft/aviation service so we do on occasion get pilot or other employee cars in from the airport....for example, I have a Buick rendezvous in the shop right now for a power steering leak...so it isn't all glamour with vipers and lambos, etc... there is some other random stuff that shows up, some cool, some not so cool. If interested please let me know. Feel free to PM me or email me with experience and we can set up a time for you to come by and give you a quick tour.
..still looking for a technician so the things you build...we can throw on the dyno and test.
It's a great opportunity for someone...question is do you have what it takes????(say yes-say yes)
Job location is WPB, Fl 33415
Dynojet, we already have here. Just needs to be physically attached to the ground, and accompanied lift.
IT, not at THIS moment sir but always possible. What do you know about the Murcielago? It came to us with half the parts robbed off it it.......sadly. LS7 lifters are roughly 150 bucks give or take...and I would need to look at labor time. I am not a forum sponsor here(corvette fourm we are) so I cannot sell/advertise anything with all due respect to LS1tech. However,...it sounds scary to me, saying you have an "odd noise.....nobody can figure out..".
Please email me with tech questions, as I would like to keep this about searching for a technician. Thanks!!!!
Side note, we may be having a Lamborghini tech start full time for us so it is possible we may be filling this position. However still accepting resumes and position, still open today.
Thanks,
Jamie
We did get the lambo tech in, works out well but, they're seemingly mostly on the aircraft side....so soon, I will probably be calling one or two of you that sent in your info. I am sorry for the delay, I have been super busy with shop load and installing dyno. My apologies if anyone was left hanging. We'll talk soon!
Thanks, J
