Hurricane Matthew Thread FL guys, how did you make out? Post up anything about the hurricane and what you saw or damage. Pics welcome. Wind got nasty by us but we didn't lose power or anything major. 1 section of fence was about the worst of it.
It could of been bad, the storm was off shore from us in Port St lucie. I think the media overkilled this thing to the max. No major damage of any kind, just power flickered.
I feel the media did the right thing for once. See how this storm could have came inland and destroyed central fl. The northern coast got hit very hard. I feel bad for our guys in jax and st Augustine hopefully they all pulled out ok.

Just got done dropping an alternator on my face. After the hurricane my car had just enough power to drive my car down the street all to find out my alternator was shot. Lucky enough ddnspider had a few in his garage so he had the pleasure of watching me drop one on my face in the process. Other than that all was good.
i thought the weather chnl reported 3 people died in st lucie cty? i figured it was kinda bad there. hey did you guys hear on folly beach after beach erosion they found several civil war cannon ***** they were going to explode? crazy!

i lost power for half a day and cable/internet for 3 days. tree brush everywhere.
some trees fell but mostly road signs and fences i see down around town still.
my sister that is 10-15mins from me lost everything for 3 days i think it was. that sucked. she had to throw away all the food and whatnot. could be worse tho.
