I may be selling my Firebird soon since I got the Z06. It's Burgundy and has fairly low 34k miles. It would be alittle more than what your wanting to spend since it's in great shape and has $$'s in mods.
I could remove some mods and sell it cheaper, I have all the stock parts.

Default still looking?

i concentrate on finding 93-97 f-bods, but i can keep my
eyes open for you. if i find you a 98+, i'd probably
want first refusal if you decide to let it go in a few years,
when it depreciates into my preferred price range.

if you are serious i know someone that will most likely buy it from you...i personally don't think i could take it seeing that it is a formula and modded pretty heavily...i'm wanting to do everything myself sort of as a project you know...but we'll see...if you are serious i may think about it for an intermediate car until i find one that i really like...can you give me the specs....both the mods and the stock specs (ie does it have t-tops) what clutch...what's wrong with it

Yea, I know I'm surprising a lot of people by doing this, but I've got several reasons for wanting to sell it. I'm getting a free beater from my brother which is what I really need for college. I won't need two cars. I want a bike. But primarily I just don't have the will power to stop spending money on it. Every paycheck has gone to my car and that's gotta stop. It's not healthy. I'll probably get back into the car world after college when I can afford to drop $4000 in mods no problem. The car's got a lot of stuff done to it Kev, I'll try to list everything if I can remember.

Mods
Performance
TSP 231/237 .598/.595 112+2 lsa
Ported heads (good job done by prev. owner)
PRC gold dual springs (rated to .650 lift)
LS6 intake (painted silver to match car)
titanium retainers
TSP hardened 7.400" pushrods
new valve locks and spring seats
NGK TR55 spark plugs
Taylor 8mm wires
Suncoast creations airbox w/ K&N filter
SPEC II clutch w/ Pro 5.0 shifter
Hurst line lock
3:73 gears

Exhaust
Hooker LT's ceramic coated
hi flow cats
TSP x-crossover
18" Sweet Thunder's stainless
turndowns at the rear end

Suspension
Eibach ProKit lowering springs
BMR torque arm
BMR panhard rod
BMR lca's
BMR weld-in subframe connectors
BMR strut tower brace (painted silver to match car)

Wheels/Tires
AFS chrome ZR-1 replicas
17x9.5 +38mm offset
17x11 +36.5mm offset
Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 275/40ZR-17 90% tread
BFG drag radials 315/35-17 80% tread

Random
Pioneer CD deck
Infiniti Kappa component speakers
Kicker CVR-10" sub
MTI stealth sub-enclosure
5% tint on side and rear windows
Hurst white "cueball" shift ****
polished taillight centerpiece (no firebird logo, just shiny black)
Suncoast Creations hood

Stock stuff
graphite leather
t-tops
power windows
remote keyless entry
remote hatch opener (that actually works, lol)
door handles and side mirrors are body colored

Problems
3rd gear synchro grinds when racing (no grind during normal driving though)
nothing else is wrong mechanically, no leaks, etc.

Issues
car is not tuned
still have to install EGR blockoff plates and remove AIR system
have to install new oil pressure sending unit, current broken one is superglued on w/ no problems at all...I already have the unit to install
I have LS6 ported oil pump not installed
also have Rollmaster double roller timing chain not installed

hey man i'm VERY interested...umm lemme know when we can meet up...i'll have a talk with the rents and see what they say...other than that i'll just be waiting on you to let me know when to meet...a couple questions though...(well before i come up there and see it) how well does the hood match the car...and dents dings scratches...how much do you think it would cost to fix the tranny?...how much rwhp do you think it will make once tuned...425? why didn't you install the pump and timing chain while you were in there...and will you include the oil pressure unit, timing chain, and pump as well...any pics of this "polished tail piece"? how many times has it been to the track, what did it run?

damn J, you're selling the Formula? Man I'd be all over that if I didn't already own 1, especially since it's a 6 speed Bummer, but I understand the situation you are in.

Hey Kev, you know you can edit posts right? Lol...

The only people that know that my hood doesn't match are hardcore enthusiasts. You can tell it's not stock, but its not that bad.

A couple rock chips on the hood, a 1.5 inch paint scratch on the rear bumper, and no dents anywhere.

No idea on estimate for tranny. I didn't plan on getting it fixed at all, doesn't bother me one bit.

I couldn't really guess on rwhp estimates as this is the fastest car I've ever owned or rode in. Pm distortion_69 and tell him to ask Craig about the estimates. He should be able to help.

We didn't install the oil pump and timing chain b/c the pump didn't come with an o ring and you can't reuse the stock one. And since you have to pull the oil pump to get to the timing chain, we couldn't put the double roller on.

I'll have to charge for the pump and chain seeing as how they are NIB sitting in my apt. But I'll pay to get them installed, along w/ !EGR and !AIR. Don't worry, I'll give you a major deal. I'll give you the oil pressure sending unit for free.

Been to the track a total of three times for seven runs I believe. All were before the cam and intake and with slippery Nitto drag radials. Consistently trapped 109/110 before cam and intake (not powershifting). I haven't been to the track after the cam/intake for two reasons:
First, I now have BFG dr's on instead of the Nitto's and the BFG's hook like glue. I didn't want to risk the rearend snapping b/c then I'd have a hard time selling the car.
Second, I now know how to powershift and once again didn't want to risk breaking something before selling it.

Car has 98k on the odo. I still drive it everyday w/ no issues.
