Drove about half the cars that were there, only foreign car I drove was the Murano, because my friend wanted to see if i like that transmission, which I didn't like, no feelin of upshift or downshift sucks.

Before I can get the passenger door closed, some kid barely out of high school gets in, and just tells me no clutch drops, run it to redline in first, and keep it in second the rest of the course. I notice that the competition mode button is taped over with duct tape
So I redline first, power shift second, brake a few seconds after he tells me to do so, coming around the hig hairpin in a controlled slide. Start unwinding the wheel and applying power and all of a sudden the car just loses forward momentum. I put my hand on the shifter and it's in neutral. The SOB pulled it out of second in the middle of the slide. So I put it back into second and listen to the engine ping the rest of the way back to the parking area.
It was free, but I was disappointed they didn't let you drive more than one performance vehicle on the weekend, and the courses were way too short.
The CTS-V apparently has the LS2, asking about which Grand Prix GTP had the paddle shift..."Whats a paddle shift??" was the response.
I got in trouble for fishtailing an Escalade the first time out. Had a blast just like last year.
.I still had fun, but ended up test driving a convertible C6 at the dealership today so I could at least get the feel of it.
