Good tuner in Florida
1200 is way high for a cam and spring install. It takes 6-10 hours depending on what mood the installer is in. If other parts were installed fine or if tuning was included fine.
The fact your just sticking up for a shop you like. Great point taken.
Nothing negative was said about their work just the price of something.
It is a simple oponion.
If your speaking for the shop your doing a bad job. Back to the 2 wrongs dont make a right, and the business has to be the bigger man in silly issue's like this.
Both party's need to drop this and get this thread back to the actural point.
TUNING.
Jeremy at Rev Extreme in Tampa IS awesome! He is very competent and reasonable!
And remember, you can tune a LS1, but you can't tuna fish!

here's some advice: Don't talk about Vinci anymore. They suck. They don't make fast ls1's.
oh and btw spraying your way to a 11.6 with a 175 shot and 4.10 gears is just plain laughable. Personally if I were a shop I wouldn't want to be advertising that.

well, since you want in on this, let's go at it.
why not try to read what i write. i am associated with them. i do not work for them. i guess you missed where is said i'm an independant product tester.
here's some advice for you: before opening your trap, why not call them and see what their philosophy is. they aren't here to make the fastest LS1 on the planet. they are here to provide the average street car what they want and need. not everyone wants the quickest and fastest car.
yes, i know, my completely stock motor ls1 that runs mid 11s in 100+ degree heat in the middle of july and on 17 DRs is pitiful compared to your highly supercharged car that from what i hear you can't drive down the track and quicker than i can mine. vinci hasn't touched my black car by the way. the only thing vinci did to the white car was install the rockers and springs the first time. i've built all my cars. bet you can't say the same.
if anything, if i owned a shop that worked on your supercharger, i wouldn't want you posting up about your laughable times either. glad for that shop you don't.
so, whenever you get your car (or driver for that matter) actually working correctly, and i finish the wife's car, let's say we go at it?
