It makes that much of a difference, so my racing season starts mid-late October and ends the end of May for me. Track conditions with prep <---if and when it's done well usually for slicks only nights, it hooks very good. On nights where the dew points are high even with decent prep it's not the way it's going to be when dewpoints are in the 30's and 40's like in Dec/Jan/Feb.
That's been my overall experience racing there for a few years year round.
When it hooks for my on drag radials I can cut a 1.78 60' when it's horrible I struggle most of the night to get it down to a 1.92, same car, same tires, same suspension, same track definately not me or my car.
