Theres only 2 LS1 cars around here that are fast enough to run the Nobull race and neither one is running right now. Now if Gator brought his LT1 or Loudmouth came out they might win a couple rounds.
I still plan on beating an SOM Camaro with my slow silver car.

I want to come out and run these no bull shootouts, just gotta get the car legal to pass tech first, and that's not gonna happen till probably after our bradenton rental, cuz i'm still upgrading suspension and putting everything together for the full hit and gotta get it tuned and all, so sometime after december i'll probably get the money together for the cage and the rest of the stuff I need!

Its at Orlando Speedworld Sunday 10/2/05, starts at 10am and $15 for test n tune. The track is on East Hwy 50( Colonial Blvd) about 10 miles east of downtown Orlando. The NoBull part of the race has 8sec, 9sec and 10sec cars some real sweet cars.

There not too strict on NHRA rules for this race. As long as you have some kind of cage,fire jacket, and your nitrous setup is legal they will let you run. You dont need a certified cage or NHRA 8-9sec license.

P.S. why dont you run your car at the No Lip race in Gville on Nov4 , I need some fellow LS1 guys to battle the mustangs in the middle class.

Really, that's cool, thought they'd be **** about tech, my nitrous is legal, main line run under the car and blow down tube and all. When is the next one? Maybe I can make it if I have the car back together, right now i'm waiting on my madman torque arm to come in, putting my full nitrous kit together, and gonna get her tuned by Norris when everything's together.

Oh and right now gville is a bit too far for me, I still gotta upgrade a few things on my van which will be done before our bradenton rental. But just out of curiosity, what exactly is the no lip nationals?

most definitely. you can come a day early and stay over at my place, i live 15 min from the track.

definitely a cool event to watch. Some of the guys you see on that show pinks run, and you see how much they were sandbagging it on that show, lol.

You really think those guys were sandbaggin? That one I saw with the vette and the nova was rediculous, those cars were just stupid fast, specially that vette!!!

Oh and i'm curious, do those guys actually lose their cars or is it all just show?

That show of pinks was great, the Nova has not bin out run that I`ve ever seen Marks Nova traps about 170mph!! I taped that show and you can see both cars slipping and slidding after the 1/8th. I`d like to see that race again tommorow(at NoBull) with better track prep Mark might have something for the Vette if he can turn the boost up w/traction.
My friend that works at OSW said no one was really loosing there car it was just for show.
