so what is a "florida fast" car? i was just curious, i see these little whipper snappers saying <400hp vettes want to do 1 mile runs for top end, and roll racing is how real racers get down and all...so i was just curious what a florida fast car is...is it something that will hit 150 before the 1/4 mile...or before 3/4 of a mile?

i think there is merrit to having a car that not solely setup for digs.. i mean thers plenty of cars that can fast *** qtrs but what hapens to that same car when tring to do a 100-170 run ???? ive found that alot of "fast cars" simply are out of gearing by the time they get to 100 can can be out ran forma hwy roll to high speeds this is why i am not just tring to build a fast Qtr car but one that wont get its *** kicked in the triple digit races... but i guess its all what you want .. in my case i want the best of all worlds.. comfort, speed(top end and accelration), reliable, agilty.. which i will mst likely mean i ont be the best in any one area but to e ahving the right rix of all aspects will allow me to enjoy the car more than just going to one extreme

dream? HA! that would be a damn nightmare...it would be nice to be able to do that on the street and it just be easy as yanking the chute if i got a little loose...but yea...pulling the chute going down 275 would draw some attention i think.

well I thought once I got my pos done and down to orlando that I would be a fast car but right now it looks like top 10 in et will be tough. haha o well and yeah any idiot racing from 100 + roll is just asking for it. that is what the track is for. plus there is no challenge from a roll. no skill involved. just stab the gas and go.
100-170 race? wtf? if you fellas think you are that badass with acceleration and agility, go hit up sebring. i BELIEVE you have enough straightaway to run your number. i bet you wont think of yourselves as a roll racer then
