I've only made one run at BMP. The second time I tried to make a pass there I snapped an axle like a toothpick. BMP hooks....

are you an auto or man? If you have a manual, just slip the clutch a bit, and you will be ok.

I like BMP but from the beginning of this thread BMP also gets their share of idiots who mess the track up. I race almost every week usually at OSW or LMSP. For the most part BMP has always been the best prepped track in the area but recently I have heard some of the faster Orlando guys( 8sec, 9sec cars) have had traction problems on Saturday T n T. LMSP lately is probably the best for hooking, but I think OSW is usually as good as BMP on T n T because just as many ricers and idiots run at both tracks. For those that bracket race I think Sat race nights are very good traction at all the local FL tracks BMP, OSW, LMSP, and Gainsville.

Sure some tracks tend to hook better than others. But for all the folks that complain about it being the track, you ought to consider another sport. Learn to build your suspension and tune it before you go blaming others about having bad tracks.

Eric, I have to argue with you on that one, I had been going to OSW since 96 and the track prep has gone in the ******* over the last few years.

I remember when they would prep as least every other round and they would not let cars with street radials go through the water box, now there's more water on the starting like than in the water box.

If Randy would prep every round I would pay $25 for TNT on Wed and Fri.

It's just a shame that the only thing Randy cares about is the $$$

That's why I will only run my cars @ Bradenton.
I say the same thing but always get reemed and called a dumbass. "OSW is such a wonderful track! You should be so grateful"

Richie,

I've been draggin there since the mid 80's and I will agree to that OSW does not get the same prep as it used to and there are other tracks that definitely prep better.

My point is that so many folks depend on the track to make their car go. Those tend to be the folks that bitch the loudest and have spent their money on making power and not put the same zeal or finances in to making their suspension work.

Not saying the track can't improve as that would be a rediculous statement. But if there are guys who can drag bumper on TnT nights there's hope for all.

My .02

Go to Moroso on a tnt night and then come back and tell me that! I bet you won't cut anything better than I do there, I had to do a lot of extra stuff and spend a lot of extra money just to get her to hook decent there and she still doesn't hook anything like bmp!!

No, i'm just sayin you said to put some money in the suspension, I have pretty much all of the best on my suspension now, and doesn't matter how much I adjust and this and that, a tnt night at moroso I just can not dead hook, i'll get a little spin and go bottom 1.4's when I would be going bottom 1.3's at bmp, that was my point, unless you got a tubbed out race car with a 4 link, tires size bigger than you need, a rear gear that's way too tall, and not as much power as you should have for that setup, ur not gonna dead hook, hehe!
