I'm going to head down to Palm Harbor within the next week to look at a 99 Z28. I was wondering if anyone knew of a shop or reliable mechanic in the area that could check the car over for me while I'm down there. It's about a 5.5 to 6.5 hour drive from Jacksonville so I don't want it to die on the way back. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

You could stop by RevX on the other side of the bay. I don't know any good mechanics to recommend to you, though. I wouldn't mind if someone had some recommendations in the area either.

 

I saw Rev XTreme under the sponsors list, but I'm not familar with the area and saw it was 25 miles away. I'm still keeping it open as an option, but I was looking for something that was a little closer. Thanks.

 

I am in St Pete...nothing on this side of the bay. Most shops even Non Ls1 shops are in Tampa Brandon Area...

Revxtreme isnt far. Prolly take you 30 minutes to get there.

 

closer than 25 miles away? not gonna happen. that is if you want a confident shop with real ls1 experience. get in teh car and drive over there. they will take care of you.

the next closest ls1 shop i would trust is outside of orlando. norris motorsports

 

Ok, thanks guys. Just where I am there's a mechanic shop every few blocks, but only a few speed shops. Quess I'm just used to that. When I go I'll just call up RevX and drive on down there, give me a chance to check it out for my self.
