any golfers in here? got a ?
now i am swinging around the clubs again and working on my game. just trying to get a consistent swing. i have been hitting the range a few times a week the last few weeks and things are turning around for the good for me.
my question is my right hamstring is sore the next day after hitting 50-60 ***** at the range. is this a good thing? or am i over compensating? i am right handed and was only hitting sw through 5 iron.
i was just wondering if there was something i was doing improperly in my swing that would cause the right hamstring to be sore.
i do shift my weight to the right hip a bunch as a usually play with a closed stance. it helps me draw the ball. i move the weight to my right hip on the upswing. i dont have a ton of hip flexability (working on that).

Then I started drinking beer by alternating hands and was set!
I've been told you want to start at the range, at the bottom/top of your bag of clubs and work up or down until you feel comfortable on each one before playing a round. It seemed to help me a little, but I'm extremely lucky to get par once in a game.

A lot of times at the range people try to put a lot of distance on the ball, like you said you need to find a consistant swing, take it easy at the range, find that swing you use for every club, don't try to tourque it out there. But best bet is that its from lack of play, should go away after a while.
Wow suprised at all the golfers here, maybe we should have a LS1tech golf tournament?
I suck at driving the ball and I'm only good with irons and a sand wedge. But I usually shoot par or 1 or two over, but I play like once every two months!
