ticket help ASAP
ticket help ASAP FHP got me for 83 in a 65 the other day.. the bad part was my license had unknowingly expired like 7 months ago and now semonle county has picked it up as a criminal offense "unlawful speed on a expired license"
i have a clean reccord all the way arround arround and i wanna make this disappear.....
my only defense is i actually got a new license back in january but instead of a new one; they sent me a duplicate so i have a duplicate license that was issued 27 days before its experation.. besides that im pretty fucked!!!
anyways if any of you all know a good lawyer in the semonle county area that can work some magic i need one asap !

this whole thing is so dam dumb in my mind its not even my fault my license is was expired!
on the good side i know theres been freinds of mine that have had much much worse offenses throw out so i dont see this being too big of a challenge for a decent attourney
in any case i go to court on friday oct 13 so i need to get something going soon !

damn on the 83 in the 65.....go after the DL issue though....sometimes fhp doesnt even like to show up....dont know why exactly, they dont really do any real police work...i think they sit around and shine the orange on there badge.....but yea your probably looking at court cost, a lawyer fee and maybe just pay the speeding ticket...all depends...have fun

I have a referral for you if you would like to give him a call! His name is Charles Taylor Jr. and his number is (407) 244-5997! I got busted on the Turnpike in May for illegal window tint and he gave me a ticket for $100.00 What sucked most of all was I was going north and (speeding) and he was headed south and the ******* turned around and came after me. He could of issued a warning but no he had to be a dick and give me a ticket. I just paid it and said "to hell with it"!

When you received the license back in January, you didn't check it? You're lucky... 90 would have added a careless driving citation. I'm surprised they didn't take the license. Perhaps you can go to the DMV and get a valid license to show the court that as soon as you realized the problem you made an effort to fix it right away.
I'd call the aforementioned attorneys and see what they charge. It's highly unlikely the FHP will show up to the arraignment, but if you plead not guilty to try to keep your record completely clean, there's a chance they'll show up at your trial date. You can plead Nolo Contendre at the arraignment, but some insurance companies consider that the same as a Guilty plea.
