I don't get many tickets anymore thanks to my Escort detector and Blinder laser jammer but the last two tickets I got I fought and won.

FYI For each ticket I had to go to court TWICE. Even though you plead not guilty when you send in the ticket, you have to go to court the first time to plead not guilty again. The cop or your witnesses do not have to be present at this date. While your there they try to get you to plead guilty with an explanation. If you do that the result is always court cost and a minimal or no fine . If you still plead not guilty they set up a court date where the cop and any witnesses actually plead their case. This may be just a Palm Beach County thing but I think it's statewide. You might want to check this so you don't have people (witnesses) taking off from work TWICE for no reason. They do this to discourage people from pleading not guilty...nice system huh.

BTW if the cop doesn't show it's automatically thrown out. My four times in court I got to see alot of cases and this happens more times than you think it would. Alot of cops I saw in court for non radar tickets were totally unprepared to present their case so don't be afraid to take it all the way, just be sure your the one that's prepared.

same thing happened to me, got on it to pass someone, cop "heard" a fast car, and pulled me over, asked me what's the hurry. didnt clock me or anything, told me i had violated 9 or 10 laws. but let me go with a warning. i wasnt speeding, didnt squeel my tires, i think the cops just assume a camaro=bad guy. im not sure what you can do, hopefully it works out!

Hope you win. I would say if your worried, get a lawyer (assuming its not expensive). I have a friend that fought a ticket where he was clocked on radar from a cop traveling the opposite direction. He did a little research and had three ways to beat it according to his state laws..

1st of which was that moving radar was not acceptable in court due to accuracy or something.

2nd was the calibration log for the radar used was not up to date, and

3rd was the cop did not have sufficient hours of training logged for the radar gun or something of that sort.
