Man, lets put it this way. I am a member of www.mustangforums.com. I asked them how much rwhp I could make with: LT's, pullys,o/r Xpipe, cat-back, CAI, TB, plenum, predator dynotune on a 99-04GT. They told me I would be doing well if I hit 280 to the tires. That is about 20whp down on a 98-02 6-speed LS1 BONE STOCK!!!! Now do you understand why they get **** on so much? I drive a mustang, I have owned an F-body, and for christmas I will be buying another F-body and getting rid of the mustang. The Mustang is a nice DD, and girls like them, and they are very civil. The F-body is a performance machine. Period. It's suspension rapes the mustang (every aftermarket mustang suspension you see tries to emulate the F-body chassis/suspension...tq arms and the like...) and I already told you about the motor.

Bottom line, The F-body is a superior performance machine ON THE STREET! At the strip, ***** to the wall, the Fox's have it.

PS. the mustang board unanimously told me to go F-body if I want the faster car unless I plan on forced induction. In that case, they said either would do...but the 4.6 has **** weak internals and is known for blowing up at around 400whp with boost unless tuned PERFECTLY.

Who wants to see me run this guy in my wagon? I can do it this Wed. evening. TNT @ Moroso. I'll run straight up, then him on bottle. If all he has is external bolt-ons/gear/tire, the wagon can make somewhat interesting on the heads up run.

2v vs. Wagon!

I do!

I had one of those at our local track line up with me and I was surprised by it! It ran right at my rear bumper until the 1/8th mark! After that I walked awy pretty good but I was very impressed! I don't know what was done to it but it ran pretty good!

Let me know early on Wed., as I need to get a "Baby On Board" sign to add to my window.

Something doesn't add up. It doesn't take "7 months of downtime" to install boltons and nitrous.

you are correct only takes a weekend to install the boltons and nitrous...

i should have had my car back in a month or two with what i had done....but was having friends help out and then things just dragged on...finally took it to a shop and had them finish it all...

I think someone is trying to BS some people on this Board. I bet he spent his life savings in that bad boy to beat an ls1 J/k man i have a good friend that is my neighbor that owns a 99 GT with 4.10 gears and 150 shot and all minor boltons and i easily walk him on spray with my old 10bolt (3.42) pretty much stock besides catback on 100 shot . He doesnt stand a chance now with my other mods and new rear. That is why not alot of us respect the 2v so much becosue it takes alot of work to make the 2v respond to mods.

Hey all, props to BottleFed03GT. This guy's come on the board, looking for a fair race (and some respect from the LS1 community) and all he's got lined up is a possible run with a wagon. C'mon you guys, give this guy a race. At the very least, welcome him to the board here.
