Well John Weeks tuned my car for me. He gave me good daily driver quality. After the trip around the block the car idled almost like stock, people can hardly tell it has a cam and it has good power. He is going to re-tune on Thursday for my latest mods. After the first tune he offered to fix any problems that came up that were not related to new mods for free. He strikes me as a real stand up guy.

Im with caveman on this 1. TIM SLOPER IS THE BEST
He is an engineer by trade and an absolute mathematical genius. He makes a great living with his 9-5 so he doesnt do this full time but noone is better. Tim, like myself, caveman and carbone have been playing/tuning these ls1 cars since day 1 and tim always nailed the tune to perfection. He does some tuning at a couple of high profile shops in town and will tune your car to the level you desire.
IE: If you simply want a tune on the dyno like most everyone gets he can do that and its not 400 for a 1 hour job. It is a basic, cover the bases tune like everyone else on this board provides.
If you want a real tune under street driven conditions expect to pay for it and expect it to be a 6+ hour job. When we tuned my car he mapped all of the VE tables in speed density form, this provides protection in case of a MAF failure. NONE OF THE DYNO TUNERS CAN ACCURATELY DO THIS UNLESS THE CAR IS TUNED ON THE ROAD. We spent over 12 hours tuning my car but it is perfect perfect perfect. Next month Im installing a 2 stage n20 system and we will do the same thing again for total protection and drivability.

SWEET I NEED IT LOL....
I just pulled my 4L80E again for another converter swap. So no n2o yet. We can now remove the 4L80E from raising the lift to sitting it on the floor ( well lowering the air powered Hydraulic tranny jack) in 35 minutes. Dale now says I have a zipper tranny the way it keeps going up and down. I LAUGHED MAO the first time he said that. Anyway 3 weeks (ish) before the gas goes on.
I just pulled my 4L80E again for another converter swap. So no n2o yet. We can now remove the 4L80E from raising the lift to sitting it on the floor ( well lowering the air powered Hydraulic tranny jack) in 35 minutes. Dale now says I have a zipper tranny the way it keeps going up and down. I LAUGHED MAO the first time he said that. Anyway 3 weeks (ish) before the gas goes on.

Tim is really good.....He's just hard to get a hold of, Keep in mind he has a full time job, So he can only tune your car on his own personal time.

well i was present at a jeremy tuning session and a young guy came who payed mike couple hundres and jeremy got his hands on it and pick up extra hp and tq go figure

I'll vouch for Jermy Formato I have a 383 done a couple of tunes he did a great job He has done a few of my buddies cars and no problems and he a Good guy The only other place i used was eastside in CT
