as long as they fired that ******* Gary. Thats all that matters. He has ran that track into the ground. it used to be a decent place to race until he showed up, and turned it into ****. **** GARY!!

Well hopefully some more good info on this.... (guess only time will tell)
1/4 mile track and road course will be 2 seperate beasts after this. Return road will moved to the east side, past where the rescue team sits on now. Old return road will be gone.
Track will be re-paved, raised 8 inchs and extended back to include the area directly behind the current tower (which will be demo'd). So, our starting point would seem to be back much further. This will allow a longer shut down area and a proper sand pit at the long end. Mew tower will be offset on the west side of the track in the back, kind of like Orlando or Bradenton is.
The cement walls will be completed down the sides of the track.
There will be ten staging lanes on the east side of the tower. The current west sdie sportsman lanes will be a memory, just like the current return road.
A lot of the area on the east side of the tower will be paved. I assume this means the road and east gate area, but I am not sure.
To me it also sounded like a lot of future work will be going into making the road course much better also. May have to build something for that someday.
If just some of this is true, I think it will be a nice change. Hopefully the new people will understand track prep a bit better then we see now.
