Every Thursday at 6pm there is a car show. there are always 50 plus cars there, but only a small handfull of 3rd and 4th gen f-bodies... and a slightly larger handfull of old man in ls1 and ls2 A4 vettes. hoping this thread will draw more guys or girls with late model f-bodies up there...

thanks.Even though my location is ohio,I do (in my Z) florida a couple times a year with Spring Hill/Weeki Wachee as motel area as it gives me good access to Orlando,Kissimmee,Busch Gardens, and Tampa.

No particular time of the year.My last trip was for the Zephyrhills swap meet in early 06.Planning on the 'winternationals' at 'old town' on the 2nd weekend in february.
Never seen much going on in the spring hill area.The Hardees at 19/50 had some old car cruise-ins on weekend evenings and 'Pit Boss' had friday night events.Neither of those drew my interest.I follow the florida 'sites',especially when nearing a drive down to,so that I can find the good events.
2nd last trip(with 01SLPSS on this board) was June 04 for 10 days.Stayed at Weeki Wachee Best Western for a few days and then relocated to I-Drive Best Western for the duration.We did the Daytona track tour,the daytona beach twice,'razzles' in Daytona,'Cowboys' in Orlando,'Round-up' in Tampa,Coyote Ugly in Ybor,did the 275/75 drive around tampa bay,'old town' friday evening cruise.We ran out of time to do more.
My age group is OLD like my avatar,60,01SLPSS is a youngster,27.

 

okay... i'm young, 22. i've heard of the pit boss friday nights... nothing to brag about... tuesday night in hudson prime time has a car show. same old ppl always attend there, but there's never more than 30 cars. it's okay to go there and hang out and eat. but the spring hill is the best i've been to. quaker steak in st. pete is just as big, but the food service there sucks *** and has average food. i met some representative from Classic Chevy named Jim(he has a 93 pace car and real nice guy) over at the spring hill show. he gave me a free magazine and told me about the winter national and gave me a flyer. i think i posted on here about seeing if anyone was going in a group, bc i didn't want to drive up there alone.
