I saw Steve 01SS' car, looks good. Talked to Dave, he said he beat Richie in the first race. Didn't look like they got to race again. Mike, I saw you putting your head light back in when I was leaving. I saw slomofo... 12.70 something at 107+ earlier in the day I think? I saw a silver formula with black wheels, and a second white LS1 TA towards the end of the day in the street car lanes around 4-5pm.
The chick on the street bike needs to get the boot. To ride like that, and not get an assbeating is damned amazing.
I gave up on Funday Sundays about a year and a half ago. Now, I just roll up and watch... MUCH less stressful.
My buddy Greg got this random picture of someone...

Yeah Dave got me with a combo of redlight and a killer 60' 1.67 to my whopping 1.92
My car seems like its falling on it's face until I hit third, I wish I would have logged the car on those runs to see what was going on. Possibly there's some false knock or torque management was kicking in???
I'll get it sorted out sooner or later.
It was still fun to get out there and run the Z again.

And yeah, that girl was ridiculous. I went to the back of the street bikes to see her pull back around, she played it off like no big deal. Said sorry and hugged the guy and laughed about it. That could have been really ugly. I was expecting her to get her *** chewed out.

I sat in the stands and drank beer. Way to crowded for me! I get too bored setting in the staging lanes all day.
I was amazed that they let the guy in the black Dart make a pass after the Nova oiled down the track. Hell....even my Wife was asking me if they shouldn't check the track before letting another one go.
Why do the guys with the rotary cars set around and rev them so much? Is there a purpose or do they like that god awful noise? They are pretty damned quick in the off chance that one of them actually makes a clean pass.
The black turbo Mustang turned in the fastest pass that I witnessed with a 7.5? @ 205 mph. I'm pretty sure he backed out of it at least once during the run.
