Hey nothing against you but Tim Mains of American Motorsport does the annowncing for this event always has and he knows all of the competitors in this series that used to be the NoBull Nationals.

 

Either way, I am going to be making money working another job, like pushing the water boxes, working the E.T. shack, teching everyone in, and other things that need to be done.

 

Thats cool, its good to have a fellow LS1Tech guy working at the track. I know almost everyone that works at the track and there some good people and me and Randy have been friends for a long time.

Thanks for the comentary at the track I`ll see you on Fri night , I`ll be practicing for the big event.

 

The big race is this Sunday , there will be 5 ... 4th gen Fbodys in this race from LS1Tech, 3 running low 9s and 2 not in the low 9s .

 

So is this a big event? I'm 1-1.5 hours away and if its worth going I'll be tehre to watch.

 

This event is in conjunction with Funday Sunday. That's a full day of grudge matches and general racing that has a ton of cars attend. Not likely to get in more than 2 or 3 passes in an all day event, but more of a giant tailgate party.

The Ultimate Street Shootout will probably have around 16 cars (guess) and those rounds are run about once an hour or so. No times event of some fast cars.

I will be there and probably make a couple runs just to see how the new 3.42's work.
My son is also going to run his 93 Jeep Cherokee with the 4.0L HO. I know, laugh all you want but this thing is very surprising. We have done some upgrades to it and he wants to actually see how it performs on the track. Hope to see you all there!

I saw your run Dave, too bad you had to let out of it. I think you'd of had him if not.

I managed an 11.966@116 so I was kind of happy with that. Absolutely destroyed my boss in his WRX. So he's going to hear about that come Monday heh.

Always a good day when you're racing with your friends. Unfortunately my tranny wasn't shifting into second under full power and the adjustment that was made at the track took it in the wrong direction. I know how to fix it now and won't be down at all. I did bring my ax with me and was cuttin' down the tree on my two runs.

the crash w the mazda was def scary we were sitting right where it hit the wall and his family were next to us overall prob one of the worst sunday for wait time but good to have some sort of race series back
