98 z28 trade in??
I looked VERY briefly at this. My trade was only worth $7,000.00. It's sad cause I feel my car is worth more than that.

I was going to trade in my SS for the GTO, they were only gunna give me 5K for it.
I told them I could part the car out for at least 8K car only have 64K on the clock, It just needed some new tires...

yea, id like to sell it outright, but it seems there are alot better ones out there than mine, which drives my price down. i owe 9k on it.(new tires and a little engine work got added into the loan) i put a loudmouth exhaust on it, sounds great! just hit 100k miles. 6 speed, every gear shifts nice. i wont be too sad if it doesnt sell, but im going back to school and really could use the money for tuition/books. i just figured with insurance being cheaper on an older car, i could trade it up for something nice and not take such a huge loss on it.

When I switched from my '92 RS to my '94 Z28 my insurance dropped a couple hundred a year without anything else really changing.
Last years raise, this years promotion and raise.... will probably make up for my increase in homeowners ins and property taxes

I work at a dealership and I can tell you that I almost pissed myself when I saw what our cars pull on trade in. You don't get to see the black book that dealers have.
Your car wouldn't get more than $7000 on trade in if it's still in good exterior/interior/mechanical shape.
Sell it outright...period.
