I also put a new set of BFG's on the car a few weeks back. Yep they are sweet when they are new. It is nice to have some traction back compared to my Nitto's that looked good when they went up in smoke.

Get a second set of wheels and put some real tires on. At some point you need to realize that you can't have everything. Get a rear end while your at it. If not, just keep street tires.

Verdad Gallardo now ive got 3 sets of wheels,lol stock 16" 5 spokes,18" ADR's,and the 17/18 Y2K's all with tires....and then ive got a stack of 18"/17" tires just sitting around.if i can cut less than a 2.0" im confident itd get me in the 11's and id be happy.If what dave said is true about the nittos id be all over them

why dont you get some suspension under that car first. tires arent going to help without a good tq arm and maybe some lcas.

its got boxed LCA's and been looking for a TA...i want enough traction to get a sub 2.0 60' but not so much as to break the rearend....im not a big fan of swapping out wheels tires at the track.just not my thing since i go once in a blue moon....dave you wouldnt have a link with more info about those tires would you?
If you don't go often anyways, then you surely won't go if the is any chance of rain. I also doubt you would go in the summer months when the chance of rain is high and it is hot as hell. Swap the wheels out at your house and drive over and back. Swap at your convience. The beauty of a DD, mine has sat on the welds since July.
