transmission physicians
transmission physicians I heard good things about these guys, and I need my t56 rebuilt. Ive been trying to call them, but I cant get ahold of them. Does anyone know if they have a new number or something? Or alternatively, is there a good shop anywhere near orlando?

I was going to have them do my Tranny rebuild, and I'm positive they can do it right the first time with no problems but they are hard to get ahold of and they happened to make me mad when I couldn't even find their new shop when I was going to pick up a part from them. Also I planned it with Fernando that I would come on Saturday to pick up the part and nobody would answer the phone when I was there driving around looking for the shop(leading me to believe that nobody was there). I had to leave and never got the part. Needless to say I got pretty pissed. I decided to blow it off and not post anything or call them back about it and went to another well known shop to many Hot Rodders here locally in Orlando. I'll probably will get flamed for this but I would not go to them unless you live a little closer to them, and you have the money. I am going to recommend Ken's Performance. Owner is Ken Wells, and they are very good at what they do. They are very nice and will take good care of you. They are very informative and just did my rebuild and I am very pleased with the work. I am also pleased with there price tag as well.
Once again I am not saying that Transmission Physicians is a bad place, I know they do Awesome work, I am just not able to fork out the money to go to them, and yes I am still a little upset. The choice is always yours but to my knowledge there are only two places I would use in Florida right now and it's Ken's Performance, and Transmission Physicians.

Trans Physicians did my TH400... No complaints here except they forgot my speedo stuff while moving. But Fernando made it up to me by giving me a great price.

Dont worry about the distance, I live in P.C. and happily drove all the way there to pick up my trans.
I had a hard time gettin ahold of them once they started their move, once I did Fernando gave me his cell # to get ahold of him. The new shop is hard to find, bet JAMcamaro drove right past it 3-4 times like I did

it is a two man opperation. If you get the vm make sure you leave a message. If someone has sent you fernando's cell number that is the best thing to call. The shop is behind another business so it can be hard to find.
Our phones were down this morning. We've been having a bunch of trouble with Verizon. Both our phone lines and DSL have been a total headache. It looks like everything is working ok now.

fernando is a great guy and he knows how to build a damn good tranny.. he did mine, and i wouldnt hesitate to go there again.. i too drove past his shop about 3 times.. its very well hidden

It's cool man. I was more mad when it happened and I also had my G/F with me so that made things even better if you know what I mean. Like I said before, I know you guys do good work I just had a bad weekend I guess. I too have Verizon and it can be stupid sometimes. I am not going to make a post saying you guys are no good but I did feel the need to express what happened. I except the apology and will continue to recommend you. Well,,,, All that aside, do you still have that center console from the firebird LOL?

I was at the shop the first day they had trbl with verizon, I asked to use the net and he said "good luck" and they went on a crazed rant about how stupid Verizon is. LOL
