Protest Against Hugo Chavez So some friends and I have decided to start a protest. This is a protest against Hugo Chavez, Citgo, and Venezuela. We will be doing this in downtown Jacksonville by the landing. Not too sure of the date just yet, but we are trying to find out who will be interested. If you are tired of hearing "americans need to go to hell" and "bush is the devil" join us in this protest. Maybe some venezuelan flag burning and big signs would be sweet. We are also going to try and get a lot of local news stations down there. Let me know if you are interested in standing up for your country!

I've been avoiding Citgo for about the last year since learning
it's the Venezuelan oil retail channel. But I'm not going to be
standing around chanting for the cameras, nah.

they actually just tore down a citgo over here off 103rd the other day....thought it was pretty funny....

Hey my family is Venezulan. Do you honestly think all Venezuelans like Chavez? Thats like saying everyone in America voted for Bush.
Protest Chavez for sure but not the country itself. Chavez lied to the lower class, and killed and bribed a lot of people to get where he is, none of my family down there voted for him. I actually had to cancel a trip down there when I was in highschool because there was a violent anti-Chavez protest going on. Burning the Venezuelan flag is just ignorant and stupid, Chavez doesnt represent the Venezuelan people.
