I spoke with Valdosta and they're booked every weekend in May. Problem is when they have an oval speedway event they don't run the dragstrip. That leaves only a weekday rental which is out of the question.
We should have done this a couple months ago before the racing season started. The rental is for 8 hours! Oh, I only need 6 hours to break something really good.
I guess we'll have to live with Gainesville on a Wed night but I'm out of town the 25th of April. What about the 18th? Is that too soon? I'll be there next Wed to shakedown the truck anyways either way.

The GTO is the only car that doesn't get beat on. You could say it's a virgin.
Even the Duramax has given in to the infamous EFI Live wakeup. I think I can outrun some of these ricer crapboxes with the trailer hooked up even.

hey russ, i just got back from g-ville. went down there in the s-10 just to watch and drink some beer. man there was no body there compared to last week. oh and a 10 mph tailwind compared to the headwind like last week. people were leaving at 9 b/c they got they're runs in, lol...
i'm suppose to get my 28" et streets tomorrow so next wed, the 11th we'll go for sure.
