As yall know in college football, if you have the ball and your knee hits the ground you are considered down and play stops (Vice the NFL where if you fall and your knee goes down you have to be touched by a defender to be "downed")
So, how is it on the famous fake field goal play LSU pulled last week the holder can recieve the snap WITH HIS KNEE DOWN, not place the ball to be kicked and make a pitch play to the kicker who ran it in for a TD, seems to me if he recieves the snap with his knee down he has to place it to be kicked, or else he is legally down?
