Need Help Please
Need Help Please Hey guys ive tried some mechanics and they dont know so I turn to fellow ls1 owners I have a 98 TA custom tune pacesetter long tubes flowmaster catback and a lid egr delete and tb bypass. My problem ever since I put in the darn ac line is the car idles high around 1500 and bounces around sometime when ur driving its hard to explain sometimes it does it other times it dont. I NEED IT FIXED. So if there is anyone out there that can lend a hand and make this thing reliable again would be great im stumped cause ive checkd vac leaks maybe im missing something. another thing is only sometimes does it not crank up all the way u have to floor the car to get it to start. you replaced your a/c line only? and now your having idling problems? and to start your car you have to put it into clear/flood mode?
is the a/c compressor on when you try and start your car?
is your a/c compressor on when you have a high idle?
is your a/c system charged to the correct amount?
if so...
maybe your car thinks the a/c is on when it isnt because the pcm will compensate for the a/c strain on the motor by bumping up the idle/rpms.
just a few things to think about. let me know your anwsers and maybe i as well as others can help you out.
