There are only two gas pumps in the entire state that sell E85. One is at the cape and the other is in the Panhandle.

Correct, we have a E85 pump, but I remember a few years back we were filling up the vans and that crap was 2.85 a gal and reg was way cheaper and we were directed to use it,

All GM 5.3's are flex fuel motors.

Why do you say that?

Why should consumers pay more for E85? Not bashing, just curious to your opinion.

It seems as if there would be a high end clientele that would pay the premiums on it if you put it in a ritzy area, but the state probably has a mound of red tape in place by petroleum lobbyists to keep the corn whiskey out of our tanks. They wont build a passenger railroad, improve I4, or even connect the turnpike to the 417 (orlando's beltway)

florida's politicians do suck, just like any other states. politics suck in general. I try to not watch the news or read about it just for the fact that I hate reading biased material that is filled with BS.

Anyways it'd be nice to see a place around here that sells it. Are there any sorts of power gains or losses due to the different type of fuel?

my 03 yukon is a flex fuel veh. it might not have the silly emblem on it but take a look at your fuel filter. take a look under your hood. it shows that the 5.3L will run on E85. mine does. they were building them and tuning them for this. just not advertising it yet.
