I'll be flying into tampa next weekend and going on a cruise for my honeymoon. We can't take liquids on the plane. My question is can you buy alcohol in Florida on Sundays. I know you can't in Indiana, but you can in other states. We just want to get a nice bottle of wine or something for the cruise.

 

Hahah yes, this is not the bible belt. If you stand out front of a liquor store for a few minutes someone will probably try and sell you some pot.

 

don't get caught taking it on the ship,they will take it from you.what we did was pour vodka etc. in water bottles

Yea, what they said. Buy a 2-liter bottle of Coke (or a few), and pour the Rum into there. Now you have pre-mixed drinks!!!

Yeah it sucks sometimes. When I was in college I actually drove about an hour to buy beer on a sunday in IL. I've heard about putting stuff in mouth wash bottles and what not for the cruise. So anything fun to do to kill a few hours while in Tampa?

We loaded up gatorade bottles with rum for the first night, then got the drink pass and made rum and cokes. Then bought 3 bottle of vodka and rum on the first island we hit and brought it right on in my backpack. Was a 4 day booze crusie!
