As a vette owner i will say that this statement is not true, vettes have a slight weight advantage but it is proven at the track that stock for stock F-bodys can run the same times as vettes

Check any of his videos, (speedinjection) his car runs down all sorts of high hp cars. He says its just an air lid, but ethier way its very very fast. Also the supra made 700whp+ on high boost, our races were anywhere from 14-27 lbs. If you pay attention in the video you will see what boost he was at before each race. Also if you question my numbers check my dyno videos, there are two, one I make 505 2 weeks later I make 516.

ps I tuned the car myself and got 516whp.

i seeen where someone osted about the zo6 making 350 hp i thought those were rated at 505 hp i doubt that it is loosing 150 to the wheels just wondering

First off it is a C5 Z06 405 hp. It isn't amazingly fast or anything.. I just think the TA is a pig. See you this weekend Jeff, we can see how you do against a cam only car.

its kinda like a driver mod i think, ryans a really good driver and the supr makes alot more that 700 at full boost from what ive heard

I've owned both and my Z06 had the "zip tie" lid mod and made 360rwhp. My Formula made about 30rwhp more as observed on 2 different dynos around the Jax area. At that given time the car's trap speeds in the 1/4 were about the same on average given comparable weather conditions. I have alot of timeslips to verify this. The Z06 will hold a slight advantage as stated previously given its M12 tranny gearing with 2nd and 3rd in a street race. Run a Z06 into 5th on a close race and byebye. 5th gear ratio is awesome on the M12.
Dyno numbers mean crap to me in a race.

Did I see Velocity Trends in the video or is all this Texas rain getting to me? I thought you had to have fwd to go there.

well then if he made 700 RWHP on high boost and you didnt race him on high boost then you should edit your video couse you did not race a 700 hp car, the video says 700RWHP so thats a lie

second dyno numbers mean nothing, if everything is straight your car should rape that Z06 so either the Z is lyin or something is off in the Bird. Full throttle RWHP means nothing in real driving situations, its pretty on the dyno but the proof is in what it does on the track/street

if thats the case, and i belive ya rob, then either that bird isnt making 516, or something is seriously wrong with the tune or it weighs 5000lbs
