Driving from Tampa to Ft Peirce for a wedding, I hit some bad rain and blew out an 02 sensor at the start of a 400 mile trip. Hello 10 MPG!

Fast forward to the wedding. I am sitting at the at the reception, and There is a surfer looking type guy talking about his trans am. He looked a bit familar, and we got to talking. Turns out its Streetracer. I met him a few years earlier at BMP when he had his Pewter TA.

I tell him about my situation, and without batting an eye offers to give me an extra after the wedding! Sweet!

So we drive up to this baller *** house in Ft Peirce and he changes into a tee shirt (he was already wearing jeans, at the wedding. )

He has it swapped out quickly. I was still in my tux, so I was the offical flashlight holder.

Thanks Mike! Ill have to make it over there again to ride a bit!

Ive known Mike for over 10 years now and He's always wanting to help somebody out. So much so that he has no time to do anything else. When I started working on LS1's he's the one who showed me this site and gave me some pointers on the new LS engines.

As far as I know he makes his own brand of surf board SONIC. I could be wrong. He also works at UPS 10-18 hours a day. I know Ive worked seasonal with him.

 

Cory, Hope all is well with the car lately. A 02 went out in my car two days later and I had to buy one Not He didnt hit on me at the wedding but he did bring a flask to the dry wedding and fixed me some drinks ....

That's awesome that he was there, willing, and able to help you out. I've always heard good things about him. Never met him, which is kind of odd considering we don't live that far apart. I didn't know that about the surfboards either. Good to know, a good friend runs a surf/dive shop up in Wabasso. I'll pass the word on.

Side note: Who gets married in Ft. Pierce?
