I don't think they'll say anything with just a lid. If you have a SSRA or a FTRA (which I had and still have), you could get some grief from the adjuster.

They will not even look at the exhaust, call in the claim that is why you carry Ins. PS guess what I do for a living? Hope your not with my Co after I gave that advise (joking).

My Geico adjuster took pictures of my open cutout and attached them to my claim. I still have all the pictures.

One of these days somehow we'll get those insurance companies on the table bent over and give them the shaft for all of the B.S. they give us.
