Hey ?? for ya Derek, is the LS1 bracket race open to all LS1 cars or just Pontiacs? Shea would like to run her Vette in the brackets but I just thought about it being the Buick, Olds, Pontiac event.

Yup, its BOPC only for the bracket racing. Test n Tune open to everybody. We will have some parts for sale at our trailer I think. Mostly Olds stuff, but hopefully there will be one of the new TRZ bolt on Anti-Roll Bar kits there too

Hey Derek, I know they`re fairly strict at Gainsville. My red 98 has a real good cage(done by Takash Racecraft) and all the safety stuff and I have my NHRA license but the cage is not certified. You think I`ll be OK? Also do I need an engine diaper?

They might say something on the non-cert cage, but I don't think the diaper is req'd until next year?? NHRA rule book doesn't state it being req'd for 9.99 and quicker until 2008.

Ya know if we figure out how to keep the boost up, you'll be doing 9's all day.
I suggest you let me play with it at my house, I'll even let you store it in my garage.
I might even detail it for you and show you what a clean car can look like lol.

Depends on the track...Memphis gave me the Big FU earlier this year, and I pointed out that the rule book didn't specifically mention it being required for '07...their reply? It's still a rule, implemented in March '07. Good luck, Gainesville is strict from what I hear.

Thanks Dave, who is being modest by not posting his Firebird ripped off a 10.08 at 133 mph (can't remember the MPH exactly) on M/T Drag Radials, and his "loaner" GTO was driven to victory in the LSX class.
Now then, where were the rest of you? Track was hooking great and air was good to start with (200 DA at 10 am, got up to 1300 DA than back down to 700 DA at the end of the night).
