Thanks man. I was happy with the results of the prep work the guys did to get it ready to paint. I did order the F.A.S.T. throttle body, but, it was sticking really bad ... nearly hit a couple of cars because of it. I only had my shop order it because I thought they had that issue worked out/corrected nearly 2 years ago. The FAST TB is bushing driven, whereas the Holley is bearing-driven and the Holley one is a really sweet piece.
I'm all motor ... seriously thinking of a direct port 300 setup with a FJO controller. However, since I'm looking at doing a 427 aluminum shortblock motor, I may hold off until then and just put the nitrous money into the internals on that motor ... gonna' just take off weight for now and get my car lighter and lighter in preparation for the new motor.

LOL!!! I bought the hood back in December, 8 months ago ... bought the blackbird stripes in November, a month before I bought the hood ... thought the stripes were gonn'a be unuseable if I didn't get it painted, so, I did. HE-HE-HE!
Thanks for all the positive comments ... they're appreciated. This is something I've wanted to do for a very long time.

Yeah, I was thinkin' maybe it was like driving a riced-out LS6 ... didn't realized what a difference it would make seeing it painted and striped ... just seems to look a lot cleaner now.
