Hey Guys,

I have gotten a few calls since we were brought up in this thread and wanted to give what info I know. When the engine was at my shop, we did not "freshen" the engine but rather did a disassembly for inspection. The heades were taken off as well as the front and rear covers and the oil pan. This was to verify the component list the original customer had met the actual components. The short block was not disassembled. We did use new gaskets, Fel pro head gaskets, new oil pump and oil filter. We also installed a new balancer and thermostat since the originals was hurt pretty good in the wreck. I do not think the engine was run since we had it apart, but not known for sure. The pulley on the SC was rusted as in these pics and we did not run it here after the reassembly. Our invoice was from about a year ago in July of 2006.

That should help out the 2-3 folks that called me over the past few days.
