I've been there... I have also heard people say stab-n-go auto , purely not the case.

Something strictly fpr cruising, t-56 hands down. Once I move back up to the mountains and no longer go street/strip racing, I will swap a t-56 back in. As long as I am near some racing action, the auto is my gold (and money maker for that matter)

It's been a 1.37 short time and (different pass) ET of 9.87, and yet another pass gone 144...Now if I could just get all those numbers together on the same pass.

Oh, and I cry too...M6 breaks-Lots of stuff.

6-speeds are fun, but I'll never trade an automatic's consistency at the drag strip for a stick.
I wanted a stick Formula but couldn't find one after a 6 month search, so I settled for an auto instead. But you won't hear complaining about the back-up bracket racer...

The guys who have the 6-speed game down, are doing well at the track. The problem mostpeople have with that though is, some people seem to think the clutch will last a long time an that the tranny isn't going to break. If you are content with dealing with those problems and you have the suspension set up nicely..... props to you.

It is fun to see the 6-speed car go down the track and run sub 10's.

i want to throw in there that i give NOTHING BUT PROPS to any 6 speed guy that has the patience and wallet to go racing in a 10 second or faster combo. nothing but *****, some skill (not that hard with a big slick), and lots of wallet.

the problem is most dont understand the damage from teh shock of a 6 speed resulting from hittin gthe tire hard. clutches and flywheels galore!

I can't wait to see the video of Mark (yellowbird1232), 11.03 in Valdosta
last Friday. Doc was running mid 10's. Most of the cars there were M-6's.
I saw very little spinning that day out of anyone there. Hell, I even got
a low 12. in Mark's bird.
We can't wait til the end of Feb. '08 Colder weather means faster times.
