So close to 11's
So close to 11's Hit Gainesville on Wednesday night due to the nice cool weather. Was hoping to hit the 11 second barrier on street tires. Really want to get there before putting on some DR's too. But...Considering what's done to my car, I ran some very good times. Mods are as follows
LS6 intake
P&P TB
3500 stall converter
SLP longtubes
3" duals with magnaflows and x-pipe
MS4 cam
Here's the slip, I'm number 82. The guy I ran against was running a '97 cobra with a termy engine swap with pulley/tune/exhaust making around 475 hp he says.

Congrats on the times. BTW, the DA was -100 feet by 10 pm according to sources that were running out there with weather stations, so damn good air!

Verdad Gallardo Yea, I have a tune. Did the street tune with a buddy that's familar with tuning and using an lc-1. Then the same guy tuned it on the dyno after we got the drivability issues taken care of. 12.6-12.8 a/f across the board wot. Going any leaner didn't gain any hp...so kept it somewhat rich to make it safe.
