Dyno Run at Masport
Dyno Run at Masport I figure some of you guys would like to know what's up with my car...
I couldn't for the life of me discover where my boost leak was coming from...
No leaks deteced anywhere when I did my own boost leak test at home, so I went to see Dan at Masport where he put her on the dyno... First two runs, no leak... Third run with 3650 lb. of load, THE LEAK SHOWED UP... The BOV was set too loose... Silly right? It would come open too soon, set for too low a psi.
Well, since the car was there, why not improve it, right? After some tweaking, Dan pulled off 688 lb ft. of torque... ON A MUSTANG DYNO to boot! This was with 16 psi and a good shot of meth.
Many SFL people complain that there's nothing around here close to home... Dan Maslic is around here and he seriously knows what he's doing. Highly recommended tuner: A+

Good to hear it was nothing serious, car sounded crazy on the dyno. Hopefully you come out to the next meet, whenever that is.

Im not sure if they have realized it yet, either it will be the thursday after thanksgiving. Or they just might push it back to Dec. 6th so that they can keep the meets on schedule. My car used to be loud, now its tame considering what it used to sound like.
