Dead miss.... thinking coil pack

Dead miss.... thinking coil pack Hey everyone,
Well, I had 2 fouled plug wires.... so I went and got 8 new NGK TR6 plugs, and an entirely new set of MSD 8.5MM Super Conductor wires. I wrapped each one in a spark plug sleeve, started it up, and I have a dead miss. The car was missing before I did the spark plugs/wires, so I'm thinking it's a coil pack, but I'm not getting a SES light.

Determine which cyl it is & swap the coil pak w/another one to see if the miss moves. Also, check the connector real close for a broken wire at the connection. You did put new plugs in, right?
thats good idea but too much trouble...try this...with the engine running, go to each wire one by one and un plug it from the coil...if the rpm drops alot, like atleast 200 rpm or more. then that is not likely the cylinder...but if one drops only like 50 rpm then that is the weak cylinder. unplgging it should make it run alot worse, but if it has little affect then you found the bad one
