Took off a few useless parts tonight.... Off a buddys SS

Better hope that no one hits him up front or he bumps anything with the foam support and impact bar gone!

IMO I would leave the foam and impact bar on an remove the spare tire, jack, air pump, and if you really needed to lose weight think about the rear seats! Once again that's IMO

The bumper supports are only there for anything 5 MPH or less.

WILL NOT cover you. There is no insurance adjuster in the country that will support a claim to a vehicle missing a bumper and/or bumper support.

not true. i work for an insurance company. they might argue you on replacement cost of the rebar/absorber (who cares) but its not against any policy in the world.
