there is no reason now that he shouldnt WIN. everyone else that had a chance didnt do a damn thing this weekend. so he should be a lock which is pretty exciting being a gators fan and having your first year QB win it

they will still find a way to give it to someone else, college football this year has been redicuous. If the BCS bowl games are what people are "officially" calling them on the ESPN CFB message boards, then there is a definite reason for a playoff. No way LSU or OSU should be playing. OSU is not a good team, LSU has had some extremely good luck this year, they are two-three plays from having 4 or 5 losses. OSU played a cupcake schedule, I think a major league soccer team could have done just as well as them with that schedule.

They are also saying that Kansas and Oklahome will play in the Fiesta bowl. Who is the dumbass that said "Hey two big 12 teams would be an awesome matchup in a BCS bowl game, you know since they probably meet every couple of years anyway!"

I love college football but the people in control of it are ******* morons, well I can't say that because they are shoving loads of cash in their pocket, but their logic is so skewed that it is gonna ruin the sport sometime in the future.

Wow, LSU and OSU suck now? OK! Who should it be so I can shoot holes in your theory! Tebow should win it, IMO he means the most to his team and accomplished the most. I'm no UF fan but if you watch him play it's evident that he's that good. Why they hate for a Sophmore or Freshman to win it is beyond me, I have a feeling if they screw Tebow that McFadden will get it. McFadden is awesome but Tebow was better.

Who the hell came up with that ruling that a sophmore shouldn't win the heisman. Tebow has earned it as much as any jr. or sr. Just my .02.

We'll they were also exactly two plays away from being undefeated.

Their resume is definitely the best of the 5 2-loss conference champions, and Ohio State is a 1-loss conference champion.

I also made a point to watch Ohio State games this year. Much different and better ball club than last year. They have a great pocket passer on offense now, and incredible talent on their defensive line. I forget the guy's name, but they have a young defensive end that looks great and absolutely abused OT Jake Long for Michigan, who is the top ranked tackle coming out this year. LSU will not beat OSU easily like Florida did, they will have to play their guts out to win.

Will, that's Vernon Gholston. I think it will be a great game that either team could win.

Ohio State is smart for playing to the system. Can't blame them for taking the easier route. Why go out a play a hard *** non-confrence schedule if you don't have too?

Im not some Ohio state homer either, I am a Gator fan and I hope LSU blows them out, but its not there fault the system is fucked up...

if Tebow doesnt win the Heisman, then this award is as big of a joke as the BCS prescheduled bowls.

i never said they suck did I? Let me put it in a sentence that you might be able to comprehend.....

They don't deserve to play in the national championship.

Well LSU maybe somewhat more deserving than OSU who played one of the easiest schedules in the country and had teams fall that were ranked above them. They didn't fall far enough down after their loss to the zookers even though they were unranked and had 3 losses.

Hawaii should be playing for the national championship lol.

And yes if Tebow doesn't win, it's more proof the BCS system and the way college football works right now is a POS.

Hawaii being undefeated should put them in the championship game if (and I said if) the BCS selection was being done without strength of schedule, which they said it is. That's a laugh. As it stands they play UG and are a 14 point underdog! The result of that game could very easily expose the BCS for the joke it is.

The end result I believe is use a playoff system. It works for basketball, as some no-name teams that have killer records get a chance.

I'd love to see Tebow win the trophy, guess we'll have to see if the voters get over the whole "can't give it to a sophmore" BS.

yeah the BCS system is very flawed maybe one day they will fix it. idk how they will but someday we can hope it will be.

hopefully LSU blows out ohio state like florida did last year and some other games get out of control too.

BUT IF TEBOW DOESNT WIN THAT **** EVERYONE NEEDS TO SEND HATE MAIL TO THE VOTERS lmao

Let me put to you in FACTS SON! Zookers were and still are ranked! LSU lost to two unranked teams but OSU is undeserving? Know football before talking ****, you are to easy to school!

it does all come down to strength of schedule. sure OSU is still ranked but they had a much easier schedule. they played 4 ranked teams and all the teams they played combined barely went over the .500 mark (i think its 73-71). LSU played 7 ranked teams that combined for 82-70. OSU might as well join Hawaii and join their schedule.

Whats so wrong with setting up a bracket similar to College hoops?

I dont think Mcfadden has enough yards..Heck, Pat white (WVU QB) has almost more rushing yards..yes though, Mcfadden is a good all around player with something like 5 passing touchdowns thrown also.

There is no way COlt Brennan will get it. I realize he has thrown for osmething like 9 million yards but he has like 16 or 17 INT. thats more than Bradford, Tebow, and Dixon combined. Will see jsut how good he is against Georgia...I would be more than happy to take Georgia to cover that 14 point spread.

Tebow seemingly has it in the bag. the only thing now is politics. Can we give it to a sophmore? Mid season i would have said Dixon was the guy. However now no way..plus he has already signed to play baseball with the Atlanta Braves i believe.

If anyone gives Tebow a run it will be Chase Daniels. A win against OU would have put him ahead in my book. But he lost, and lost bad. No TDs and 1 INT. OUch. will see though..Saturday should be interesting.

I just wanted to clear things up. I previously stated that a sophmore with 3 losses couldn't win the hiesman. I will more than likely be wrong. So good luck Tebow. There isn't anyone else who should win it.

Carolina. Also though, Smith was held to 200 yards in both the Texas and USF games combined.
