ouch this one hurts i'm walkin outta the bar with my friend and we got our 2 trans ams parked next to each other. his is a ws6 and mines a regular. as we walk out this guy goes "sweet ride man how do u like it?". my friend goes which one? and the guys goes "naw man the ram air not the ***** v6". . . that one stings

I've got one better. I'm getting out of the car and a lady and her kid are getting out of their car too. The kid asks " Mommy, is that car faster than yours?" she replies,
" No mine is a vette ". haha I wish I could catch her *** on the street.

We ran into a couple people at a car show once, drooling over a completely stock C6. Dad telling his 10 year old son about how this is the fastest car at the show. We promptly corrected his error and directed them to our cars.
I love that ****, i also love how people think the SS and WS6 cars are way faster than a normal trans am or z28.
and the vette owners....what else do you expect? 95% of the people who own/drive them have no ******* clue what they are talking about when it comes to cars. I had this one dude come in to Classic Chevy all the time with his Vette, had stainless steel longtubes, and stainless all the way out to the tips of the exhaust, sounded like it has a cam and some other work done. Of course he is one of those guys who tries to come in the shop to watch everything you are doing to the car, so I ask him what all he has done and I get this response:
"Well, I don't really know, Mike Norris did everything and I just paid him, but I'm sure it's faster than what you have."

Maybe I need to open up a shop only for Vette owners- man would I make a ton of money. haha.
Not knocking mike, but I think everyone would agree that a lot of the Vette owners don't know much about the car that they even have. I for one would love to have a modded out vette though.

haha yea i have a cutout and thats what i did. i got in my car and gave the finger(jersey representing haha), i fired her up and did a quick like 1 sec spin of the tires to get the revs up a lil bit.

People ALWAYS think my cars a V-6. I can't blame them, it is the V-6 Body. I always have to tell them it's a LS1, V-8, and then they look like this> 
LOL. Sometimes they still think oh whatever soooo, Just to get them to respect the car I say "it's the same motor thats in the Corvettes before the newest ones out right now." Sad but true, they always go wow, and think I did a motor swap or something, or they suddenly respect it because it has a Corvette motor

people are dumb...as much as i like corvettes they've never been anything really special. neither have our f-bodies really besides the history. there affordably priced musclecars. its not like their some crazily technologically advanced piece of machinery. good ol naturally aspirated pushrod v8's. and i like it that way. less computer controlled stuff to break, less expensive to maintain, easier to mod. there very good platforms to make something crazy but marketing is the only reason their nostalgic
