Been looking forward to this for many years.

 

Seen this when Halo 3 first came out. IMO if they were to do a real major production for the movie it would most likely be awesome! I know talks of the movie were out but last I heard they were scratched.

I think whoever made the video they did a good job as far as weapons, armor, vehicle and the enemies!

 

its pimp, just hope it gets out of pre production at some point. i cant wait for GI Joe as well

Thats part 3 of a series of 3 small films that were made, and i must say they were very well made at that. I have seen all 3 a couple times because they are so cool, and i don't believe the guy with the sniper rifle was a spartan. I believe he was one of those different model soldiers, not a spartan. Wish they would make a movie, the sales of Halo 3 alone should have given any company the green light on making a movie. I think it would do as good if not better than Transformers.

Not to be rude but the guy you are referring to is just another soldier. The object that he is focusing the laser on falling from the sky is the master chief.

IMO I think part 3 of the short films were a prelude to the beginning of Halo 3 where the game starts out and the Sarge and his platoon and guarding the body of Spartan 117(Master chief) after he fell from the sky.

Oreo is correct these were done as a prequel to Halo 3, the object the soldier targeted with the laser was the master chief. And the ship flying overhead departed to go retrieve the chief, and thats how Halo 3 starts.

oh, i thought it was him because they said "get the laser on the chief" and the fact that hes described in the books as being red haired and blue eyed.

 

I'm not sure if I like it with the real people, kinda freaked me out. It was really well done so I kinda liked it but I think it looses the whole video game "feel" unless they just go all out with special effects then it might work.
