i really wasnt trying to worry you just letting you know. i have always had dark tint and never had a problem. and i know probable 95% of the people on here have never had an issue

HOW DARK CAN WINDOW TINT BE IN FLORIDA?

Darkness of tint is measured by Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). In Florida, this percentage refers to percentage of visible light allowed in through the combination of film and the window.
WindshieldNon-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line. Front Side WindowsMust allow more than 28% of light in.Back Side WindowsMust allow more than 15% of light in.Rear WindowMust allow more than 15% of light in. Then get a second layer just along the top edge thats like 20% or lower and it will give the appearance that only the top is tinted. Also, along with that, you'll need to tint the rest of the windows 20% or darker to help disguise the windshield tint. I know a guy that has it done. I think he has 35% on the windshield but, 5% everywhere else. Truck looks totally illegal but, I guess it just depends how lucky you are and how the cops are where you live.
but the other option is to get reflective tint thats like 50% and you cant see S#!+ through it
