anyone into mountain/trail biking?

anyone into mountain/trail biking? just wondering. any message boards that are decent to learn more? i was into it when i was in college at UF but then got busy with school/work. my wife and i want to get back into it. any favorite trails? shops? we are both looking for a bike but trying not to break the bank (yea i know how that goes).

i dont know of any trails down there in tampa but up here i used to ride the santos trails. pretty sweet place and challenging for all skill levels,just watch the trail markers. as far as bike go you get what you pay for, but ive got a gary fisher that i paid 300 bucks for and it rides just fine. you really dont need a 2000 dollar bike to get ou there and have fun, although they are nice

There are some trails south of ocala. Its around bellview-santos. Here is a link for some info

I used to do it all the time. There are some good trails right there where Fletcher runs into I75 as well as some clubs over in Lakeland if you want to get into some crazy technical stuff.
